As part of the “Independence Lessons” organized under the motto “Let us, as one homeland and one people, create a new life and future!”, an educational session dedicated to the victims of repression and representatives of the Jadid movement was held at the Student Dormitory of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod. It was emphasized that the memory of our enlightened ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Uzbekistan and the freedom of the nation should be honored, and that their rich scientific, artistic, and ideological heritage should be widely promoted among young people. During the event, a detailed lecture was given on the difficult and honorable life journeys of the victims of repression and Jadid intellectuals, as well as their struggle to develop a sense of national identity. Special presentations and historical documents dedicated to preserving their names and reflecting the ideas of enlightenment and freedom of our Jadid ancestors were presented to the students. It was emphasized that independence is an extremely precious and delicate blessing, and that the self-sacrifice of our ancestors laid the foundation for today’s peaceful, free, and creative environment.
