The meeting was attended by Shakhnoza Miraliyeva, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the State Museum of the History of the Timurids, Senior Researcher, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History. During the event, the institute’s faculty members, as well as future art historians and museum specialists, had the opportunity to rediscover unique pages of our socio-cultural heritage. The guest of the event spoke in detail about the 30-year journey of the State Museum of the History of the Timurids, the process of its establishment, and its scientific and practical achievements to date. The lecture provided information about rare exhibits preserved in the museum’s collection, examples of fine and applied arts from the Timurid era, traditions of the miniature art school, and contemporary research aimed at promoting this heritage internationally. Detailed information was also provided on the museum’s current exhibition practices, technologies for the restoration and preservation of exhibits, and digitization projects. It was particularly emphasized that for students and young researchers studying art and history, the museum serves as a major scientific and creative laboratory. Such scholarly and educational meetings provide an important foundation for enhancing the professional skills of future artists and art historians.
