Rapid changes in the global information space, the development of social networks and artificial intelligence, the flow of fake news require completely new approaches from representatives of the media industry. To this end, the largest and most important educational and practical project of the year in our republic - “Media Week” - has begun its work, uniting journalists, bloggers and press secretaries on a single platform.

This project, which is being implemented by the Content Center  together with partner organizations, will involve about 12.5 thousand participants from all over the republic. From March 30 to June 26 of this year, 5-day intensive training seminars and master classes are planned to be held in each region.

The program combines theory and practice: the main emphasis is on gaining real experience. Trainings will be held on important topics such as content creation, fact-checking, digital hygiene, SMM and strategic communications with the participation of the country's leading media experts, editors and producers.

The trainings will be held in separate areas for TV journalists, print media, bloggers and press secretaries of government agencies. Participants who have improved their knowledge will be awarded special certificates.

The first stage of this media relay, which will move across Uzbekistan, will begin on March 30 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the lessons, participants will have the opportunity to work on real cases, analyze mistakes, and formulate new approaches. Speakers will share their experience and make recommendations on priority areas of modern media development.
