Today, the international forum "Higher Education in the Digital Era: Artificial Intelligence, Innovative Models and Globally Competitive Universities" began its work at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand on March 5-7 of this year.
The meeting, which is attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kungirotboy Sharipov, the President of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference Bela Merkeli, and heads of prestigious higher education institutions of the two countries, is also being attended by our delegation led by the rector of our institute, Omonulla Salikhov.
Within the framework of the forum, an official meeting was held between the rector of our institute, Omonulla Salikhov, and the rector of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Hungary, Csaba Kovács, and a memorandum of cooperation was signed, and future plans were outlined on important issues such as the exchange of students and professors and teachers, and the establishment of foreign internship programs between the parties.
Also, at the forum, Shamsikamar Suyunova, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Fine Arts of our institute, spoke on behalf of the "Youth Academy of Uzbekistan", provided information about the main activities and achievements of the Youth Academy, and made a proposal to establish an official partnership between the Youth Academy of Uzbekistan and Hungarian academic institutions, including joint competitions, exchange of researchers, and innovative cooperation.
