Today, January 14, on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, the opening ceremony of the exhibition “The Name of Brave Boys Lives” and a spiritual and educational event were held at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
The first part of the event, which was attended by prominent public figures, prominent representatives of science, art and culture, and family members of military personnel and employees who heroically died in the defense of the Motherland and the peace of our people, took place in the Conference Hall of the Academy of Arts.
At first, a video dedicated to the memory of the brave boys who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Motherland was shown, and the images of the heroic military personnel, their courage and selflessness were once again remembered. This video left a deep spiritual impression on the audience, calling for a deeper understanding of how priceless a peaceful and quiet life is, what sacrifice, courage and sacrifice it is provided for.
After that, the Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuridinov, Chairman of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Murodjon Madjidov, People's Poet of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid, Director of the State Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Khasanov, and People's Artist of Uzbekistan Erkin Kamilov spoke.
The speakers emphasized in their speeches that as a result of the large-scale reforms carried out in recent years, the capabilities of our national army have increased, the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan have become a powerful, mobile and well-armed force capable of ensuring the security and stability of our country and the inviolability of our borders, that the basis of today's peaceful and quiet life is the selfless and responsible service of military personnel, and that we should always be proud of our military personnel who devoted their lives to such a great cause as the defense of the Motherland. It was especially noted that the courage of the military personnel who died in the line of duty should be forever preserved in the memory of our people, and that it is the sacred duty of today's and future generations to glorify their names and honor their memory.
After that, the opening ceremony of the exhibition “The Name of the Brave Boys Lives” was held in the “Academy” gallery of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, consisting of portraits of 25 military personnel who died in the line of duty, created by professors and teachers of the Kamoliddin Behzod National Institute of Art and Design.
Through the exhibition, the audience not only got acquainted with the courage of the heroes, but also had the opportunity to feel more closely the lives they sacrificed for the Motherland. The images of our heroes reflected in the portraits strengthened the feeling of respect and reverence for the defenders of the Motherland.
This event and exhibition are an expression of deep respect and honor to the memory of the brave men who sacrificed their lives to ensure the peace, independence, and tranquility of our Motherland, and are an important reminder of the 34-year glorious path of our National Army and the priceless value of our peaceful life today.
